Deputy Chief of Police – Support Services: Behr Pfizenmaier started his journey in law enforcement in 2005 as the Yorkville Police Department’s first Police Cadet. In 2008 Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier graduated from the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA) and started his career as a Patrol Officer. From 2011-2012 Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier was a School Resource Officer (SRO) where he served at the Yorkville Middle School along with the elementary schools. As part of his duties as an SRO, he taught the Gang Resistance Education and Training Program (G.R.E.A.T.). While assigned as a Patrol Officer Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier had the privilege to be a Field Training Officer (FTO). From 2013-2019 Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier was assigned to the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team (KCPAT). While assigned to KCPAT his duties included narcotics investigations, gang investigations and criminal intelligence. In 2016 Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier was promoted to Sergeant. Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier served on the Kendall County Major Crimes Task Force as an Investigator from 2016-2020. In 2019 Deputy Chief Pfizenmaier was appointed to his current rank of Deputy Chief.
