Winter Wonderland Festival and Visits With Santa

Kick off the holiday season with this fun, family event at the Circle Center Grade School's 4th Annual Winter Wonderland Festival at the Circle Center Grade School from 11:00am-3:00pm. The school will be bursting with holiday cheer as they have carnival games, bake sale, shopping circles, concessions, and of course Santa Claus (11am-4pm)!
Most activities and purchases (excluding the shopping circles) require tickets. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased for the Winter Wonderland Festival by going to www.yorkvilleparksandrecreation.com. For more information or to volunteer for the Winter Wonderland Festival, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. All proceeds generated from the Winter Wonderland Festival goes to the CCGS PTO.

Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville)
Join the United City of Yorkville at the Holiday Celebration Downtown Events at Riverfront Park for a Holiday Parade starting at 5:30pm. A Tree Lighting Ceremony will follow the parade and end with everyone's favorite, the fireworks show! Holiday Parade (5:30pm)
All interested floats should meet at 4:30pm on the corner of Hydraulic Ave and Mill St, and staff will direct you to the parade line-up. The parade will begin at the Eastern end of Hydraulic Ave near the Yak Shack, proceed West down Hydraulic Avenue, and end at Route 47. We ask all parade spectators to view the parade on the North side of Hydraulic Ave along the sidewalk of Riverfront Park. Tree Lighting Ceremony The Tree Lighting Ceremony is a long-standing Yorkville tradition with Mayor Gary Golinski and Santa Claus lighting a decorated tree within Riverfront Park for the Holiday Season! The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place immediately after the Holiday Parade at approximately 6:15pm.

The Fireworks Show immediately follows the Tree Lighting Ceremony approximately around 6:30pm. The fireworks will be shot off over the Fox River near Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville).
Chili Chase 5K Run/Walk

Yorkville American Legion Post #489 (9054 E. Veterans Pkwy, Yorkville)
Gear up for the Holiday season with the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's Chili Chase 5K Run and Walk! The race begins at 8:30am and will go through the Heartland Subdivision. Please see the Race Map for the specific route. All runners will warm-up after the race with a hot bowl of chili provided by Trinity United Methodist Men!
Fees: $25 (Includes T-Shirt)
$20 (Without T-Shirt)
Pre-registration will be accepted through Thursday, November 17 at 3:00pm. Completed registration forms can be submitted by mail (201 W. Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville IL 60560) or fax (630-553-4360). Online registration is also available at www.yorkvilleparksandrecreation.com.
Fees: $35 (Includes T-Shirt as Supplies Last)
$30 (Without T-Shirt)
Day of registration will begin at 7:00am at the Yorkville American Legion.
Pre-Registration Packet Pickup
All runners registered before race day can pick up their packet on Friday, November 18 at the Yorkville parks and Recreation Department (201 W Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville) from 8:00am-6:00pm.
